Kitchen & Laundry
Established in 1968, Felton is still proudly New Zealand owned and operated. We provide quality tapware with leading design and unique functionality that are easy to install and maintain, with low cost of ownership, and excellent after sales support.
Felton was first established by Max Davies in 1968 on Felton Matthew Avenue in the Auckland suburb of Glen Innes. The Feltonmix® Wallset, the first shower mixer to work on unequal water pressure, was launched in 1969.
At the forefront of innovation, Felton’s product designs are focused on the end user, combining technologies with aesthetic appeal.
With our in-house PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) colour finishing technology we aim to provide the end users with a standardised and consistent colour across their tapware and accessories.
We embrace our responsibility towards sustainability and are dedicated to minimising our environment footprint, ensuring that our products contribute positively to the well-being of both individuals and the planet.
Continuous improvement is at the heart of everything we do at Felton. With our innovative propriety technologies, we have progressively increased our experience, capability and know-how to create better and better products. Our design process involves understanding the customer needs, research and development of the latest technologies, and respect for the environment.
Our product designs and technologies have won a number of accolades including Best Design Awards, German Design Special Awards, Good Design Awards and Red Dot Awards.
From design to dispatch, our procedures are audited independently and comply with ISO9001. Our ISO9001 certification confirms our commitment to quality management systems, as well as demonstrating our willingness to improve efficiency in order to deliver better products & services to our customers.
The Watermark certification (also independently audited) is a mark of quality that confirms our products meet the relevant NZ / AUS plumbing and building industry standards.
We leak test everything that fits behind the wall and all products are laser engraved or punched with the date of assembly, making all our components traceable.
Felton products are either made in New Zealand or assembled in New Zealand. We maintain the assembly and finishing process on site to ensure that each product that leaves the Felton factory passes our strict quality and testing standards.
With our in-house design and engineering capabilities we machine raw lead-free DR brass to manufacture all our in-wall bodies.
Our team of friendly, highly experienced customer service and technical support staff are on hand to assist you with queries, information and after sales support. We aim to provide the best service and solutions to make it easy for you to choose and use Felton products.
The best way to contact us is to call our New Zealand toll free number on 0800 743 358 or if you're calling from outside of New Zealand, dial +64 9 528 0810.

Felton’s factory is home to the only Hydraulic Lab in NZ accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) to undertake independent offical testing to Australian and New Zealand standards for tapware and showers.
We test our own products for compliance with the various standards to ensure that quality product is delivered to the market. While the lab has been developed for our own testing, it is also available for external use, with reports now accepted by Australian certifiers towards for example Watermark certification. WEL’s (for water efficiency ratings) testing to NZ or Australian standards can also be completed. For the full scope of testing that Felton’s lab can complete see www.IANZ.Govt.nz/directory.
Felton has always been made up of a tight knit team with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in their respective fields. We currently employ more than 50 staff who work across design, engineering, marketing, sales, production and operations. Many of our staff have been with us for decades.
The Felton factory has been based in Glen Innes for more than 50 years and many of our staff reside in the neighbourhood. Over the years, Felton has continued to support the local community and charities through donations and sponsorship. In the latest financial year, we provided over $20,000 of product for the Habitat for Humanity Maunu Road Public Housing development project.
We also support up and coming plumbers in training with sponsorship of Wintec plumbing students, providing products and the opportunity to visit our factory and warehouse to see how we operate.
We also are a Platinum Sponsor of the Plumbing World Young Plumber of the Year competition.
